It appears that some tiny white worms for into the seeds of the Wisteria before they could sprout. All of them.
I am not that disappointed because I wasn't too optimistic about growing such a seasonal plant here in the tropics. From what I have read this is extremely difficult to do and rarely turns out well.
Temperate plants require a dormant period in order for them to stay alive. They can last for a little more than 2 years but after that they will become very weak if they do not get to hibernate. Some bonsai growers will put them in refrigerators or cold storage but I simply don't have the resources for that.
I still have about 10 remaining seeds. If anyone wants them let me know. I am accepting trades!
